Moji Music eCommerce

The Company

Moji Music eCommerce website will offer a small range of pedals initially (30+) and expand to offer a wider range at competitive prices to guitarists looking to add one of the less mainstream pedals to their effects boards.

“Clean design, easy navigation help with the cart and checkout process, and we will add PayPal and hopefully elements such as Klarna in time.”

The Task
The task was to create an eCommerce shop that was modern, looked different to the industry ‘norm’, and was easy to navigate.

Further we needed to explain the thinking, brand and values behind the brand, but this had to support the primary sales function of the site. Customers needed to see product front and centre, with rich details and specifications (guitarists can get quite fussy with these things), but to also make a new entity in the field look professional and trustworthy, whilst still giving useful additional options like user manual downloads (great for search engine optimisation (SEO)).

The Challenge
Costs needed to be kept within a tight budget, so we chose to use a theme template on the WordPress platform. Themes have come (at least the good ones) a long way, and are no longer such a negative impact on SEO as they used to so often be.

We integrated with the Stripe payment system (which offers credit card along with Google and Apple pay options), live chat, a coupon/voucher system (able to offer blanket/product range/or one off vouchers), and ensured the theme had good checkout and account facilities. Customer can checkout as a guest or create an account.

Clean design, easy navigation help with the cart and checkout process, and we will add PayPal and hopefully elements such as Klarna in time.

We finally integrated the popular Yoast SEO tool within the site and will work to get the site ranking as well as we can.

The Outcome
Moji Music eCommerce is now live and taking orders. We feel it’s a great looking site and shows the product off very well. If you are a guitarist, drop us a line, quoting ‘Caffeine Blog’ and get a 5% discount voucher over to you to use against the already great prices as a thank you.
