Personally I feel getting out into nature is a perfect way to get your creativity flowing again when you have hit a creative block.

What is green therapy?
Green therapy or ecotherapy is a term for the nature based approach to help your mental well-being.

Why?
As a lot of us are still working from home I thought I would share a little post on Green Therapy. During the Pandemic I’m sure a lot of us have had times where we have felt a slight bit of cabin fever and low mood. In this post I would like to remind everyone of the benefits of green therapy. Here are some of the benefits of getting out into nature:

Helps with negative thought patterns
Many of us can fall into a bit of a rut and start to have negative thought patterns. Research has shown that getting out into a nature setting compared to an urban environment can help individual significantly more with negative mindsets. So, next time you have these annoying thoughts going round in your mind, get yourself out to your local park or wooded area. It might just give you a lift you need.

Reduce stress and anxiety
Again it has been recorded by many people that getting out into nature can help reduce stress and anxiety.

Recharge your creative batteries
Whether this is due to simply just getting away from the screen or experiencing the various shapes and colours in nature, I cannot say. But many have said it helps bring back that spark needed for creativity.
